Mohanlal’s promising year!

2008 seems to megastar Mohanlal’s year with an impressive line up of film queuing up for release.
Malluwood’s dearest actress Kavya Madhavan will be seen playing Mohanlal’s heroine in ‘Maadambi’ that is being directed by B Unnikrishnan.
This commercial potboiler stars both Mohanlal and Kavya in the role of bank officials. Jagathy, Sreenivasan, Siddhique and Jayasuriya form the rest of the cast of the film.
Produced under the banner of Soorya by V C Joshy, this film will hit the floors on the early parts of next month. Not only this, the actor will also be seen in an offbeat film titled ‘Aakashagopuram’ which is said to be inspired from Ibsen’s ‘Master Buider’. Directed by KP Kumaran, this film is under its post-production stage and will be out for viewing by the second week of February.
But before this the actor will have another release with Thulassedas’ ‘College Kumaran’. Mohnlal who seems to be going through a low now with five of his films repetitively bombing at the , all hopes are tied to ‘College Kumaran’ since one cannot really count on the commercial success of ‘Aakashagopuram’. ‘College Kumaran’ which stars Vimala Raman opposite him will release on 26th on January.
