Goa crisis

• Barely seven months after coming to power, the Congress-led government in Goa is on the verge of collapse.

• NCP has withdrawn support to the Digamber Kamat-led coalition government. Goa's earstwhile tourism minister Miccky Pachecho had earlier in the day claimed regarding the same.

• total of three ministers, including two belonging to NCP, namely Mickey Pacheko and Jose Philip D'Souza, alongwith independent MLA, Vishwajeet Rane have resigned from the government.

• Congress and its allies are resultantly reduced to 19 members in the 40-member assembly
