The BJP's Prime ministerial candidate L K Advani has written to the Prime Minister asking for the Bharat Ratna for AB Vajpayee. There's no reaction from the Government, just yet so what are its options.These two men have worked together for the last 40 years, but pulled the BJP in different directions.
''Advani has written a letter stating that a person like Vajpayee should be awarded the Bharat Ratna,'' said Prakash Javadekar, Spokesman, BJP.Over the last few decades, the top honour has invited bitter political controversies.
