Harbhajan Singh is not a racist

• Racism charges against Harbhajan Singh were dropped , even as the spinner was fined 50% of his match fee for using abusive slur.
• Harbhajan was found guilty of using abusive language under ICC level 2.8 offence. The charge carries a minimum punishment of a 50% match fee fine. The maximum sentence under the offence is a one Test and two ODI ban.
• The Indian team, which was asked to stay put in Adelaide till the entire issue was sorted out, has now been asked to proceed to Melbourne for the Twenty20 tie against Australia scheduled to be held on Friday.
