- total of three ministers, including two belonging to NCP, namely Mickey Pacheko and Jose Philip D'Souza, alongwith independent MLA, Vishwajeet Rane have resigned from the government.
- Congress and its allies are resultantly reduced to 19 members in the 40-member assembly
